The Peer Buddies program will build friendships between people with and without developmental disabilities (IDD), offering social mentoring while improving the quality of life and level of inclusion. Once a month we will meet and foster friendships with various fun activities.

To start the club we will be calling it “Peer Buddies” in hopes to build up the program to eventually apply to be a part of the Best Buddies program. Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, inclusive living, and family support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
