“8th Grade Family Feud” Puts 6,300 Points in the Black Team’s Bank
The energy was off the charts inside high school’s auditorium as the 8th-grade students arrived for the annual, highly anticipated Family Feud Assembly!
As they entered, students were split into two powerhouse teams—Black and Gold—each ready to claim victory. Taking their places with their team “families,” the competitors geared up for an epic fun battle filled with fun answers, cheering, and plenty of school spirit.
The two Steve Harvey’s returned this year complete with mustaches, Ms. Bellucci and Ms. Briguglio fully embraced their role as hosts. Before diving into the main competition, 8th grade teachers took part in the obligatory battle round to give a glimpse into what they think their students will say.
Teachers took on the challenge of answering questions based on a student survey, including what the most popular snack in the cafeteria is, which teacher is most likely to send students to the Dean, and what students are most likely to forget in class.
After the teachers completed their round, students took their turn in the Black and Gold hot seats, answering questions about what their teachers think are the 8th graders’ favorite sport, and what teachers say students most often drop on classroom floors.
The final round brought Mr. Ciuffo and Ms. Quattrochi to the stage were invited to the stage and after several intense questions, the Black Team came out on top with a total score of 6,300 points!
