Wantagh Middle School students brought their knowledge of 197 million square miles to the annual Geography Bee on Jan. 11, where they competed for school champion.

A new library more than 7,000 miles from Long Island will have new books and supplies thanks to students at Wantagh Middle School. A fundraiser on Dec. 13 raised more than $250.
